Draft policy · Updated November 3, 2026

This draft describes how Neighbour Home Services handles information through this website. The business must confirm its contact details, providers, and retention practices before publishing this policy as final.

What you share with us

When you request a quote, we collect your name, phone number, service choice, community, and project description. You may also provide an email address, preferred timeframe, and property address. Please avoid including payment details or other sensitive information in the description.

Why we collect it

We use these details to review your request, contact you, discuss a quote, arrange agreed work, and keep appropriate service records. Submitting a request permits contact about that request. It does not sign you up for newsletters, advertising messages, or unrelated marketing.

Where it goes

Inquiries are stored in a private database on our hosting server. When business email is configured, the request is sent to the business inbox through its email provider. Authorized personnel and providers supporting hosting or email may process the information to deliver those services. We do not sell inquiry details. We may disclose information where required by law.

Hosting, email, and optional analytics providers may process data outside Canada, depending on the providers selected. The business should identify its actual providers and relevant locations here before launch.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

An essential session cookie protects the form against unauthorized submissions. We also retain a limited record of privacy choices and successfully submitted request references in your browser when browser storage is available.

Optional analytics are off until you choose “Allow analytics.” When enabled and configured, Meta Pixel and Google Analytics may measure page visits and confirmed quote requests. Campaign tags (UTM parameters), Meta click identifiers, and available Meta browser identifiers may be retained with an inquiry only after analytics consent. We do not send form names, phone numbers, email addresses, addresses, or project descriptions as analytics event fields.

Analytics providers receive technical information, such as your IP address and browser information, when their scripts contact their servers. Campaign query parameters are removed from the address bar before analytics is initialized. Avoid putting personal information in advertising URLs.

You can refuse optional analytics and still use every request feature. Use to change your choice. Refusing deletes the optional attribution retained by this site and its accessible analytics cookies, then reloads the page to stop loaded tracking scripts. It does not undo information previously received by analytics providers.

Security and retention

We use server-side validation, access controls, and private database storage. A keyed hash of your network address is used temporarily to limit repeated submissions; the application does not store the raw address with your inquiry. The hosting provider may separately retain access logs.

The current retention setting removes inquiries after 365 days when the scheduled maintenance task runs. Backups and email copies require a separate deletion schedule. Records needed for agreed services, accounting, disputes, or legal requirements may require a different retention period; the business must document those practices before launch.

Access, corrections, and questions

You may ask to access or correct your information, withdraw consent where applicable, or request deletion subject to legal and contractual requirements. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

Use the contact form and select “Other / Not Sure” for a privacy question. A dedicated privacy contact must be configured before launch.

Changes to this policy

We update this page when our practices change. Material changes to optional information uses may require a new consent choice.
